Tower’s commitment to meaningful, community-focused impact continues through our
partnership with Sense International India – the country’s only national organization dedicated to
supporting children and adults with deafblindness and multiple disabilities. Sense India works
across 23 states and through more than 60 partner NGOs to ensure people with deafblindness
have access to education, communication support, mobility training, vocational pathways, and
specialized assistive devices. Their work has helped transform the lives of more than 80,000
individuals since 1997, moving them from isolation toward communication, confidence, and self-
reliance.
As part of this partnership, Tower is supporting the provision of customized assistive devices for
10 children in Sanand, Gujarat. These devices play a crucial role in helping children build
cognitive skills, strengthen communication, and better navigate the world around them.
To expand our impact, colleagues from Tower’s GIFT City office recently participated in a
hands-on volunteer initiative to create tactile learning materials for children and adults with
deafblindness. These materials are essential tools used by educators and caregivers to support
learning and personal development, especially for children who cannot rely on visual or auditory
cues.
Our team’s enthusiasm reflects one of Sense India’s core values: promoting opportunities for
individuals to achieve their potential while fostering inclusion through practical, needs-based
support.
We are proud to contribute to this mission and grateful to our colleagues for their continued
dedication. Partnerships like this help ensure that more children with deafblindness can access
the resources, education, and confidence they deserve.
