Earlier this month, Tower was proud to sponsor and volunteer at the Southwest Connecticut MATHCOUNTS Chapter Competition, part of the nation’s premier math competition. This event brought together 139 mathletes from 21 schools to compete in a rigorous written exam and the top 12 scorers on the written round competed in a live mental math competition. It was an opportunity for these students to push their limits, refine their problem-solving skills, connect with peers who share their passion for mathematics, and end the day with some ice cream!

The top performing teams and individuals from the competition have advanced to the statewide event, where they will vie for a chance to compete at the national level. Beyond the competition itself, the program provides students with valuable experiences that build confidence, resilience and a lifelong love of learning.
