At Tower, we believe in the power of community and the importance of giving back — especially in the cities we call home. That’s why we’re proud to support Food Bank for New York City, an organization that has been on the front lines of hunger relief for over 40 years.
Recently, we had the honor of hosting Food Bank’s President & CEO, Leslie Gordon, at our New York office. Leslie spoke with our team about the scale of food insecurity across the five boroughs and the innovative programs Food Bank is leading to address it — from mobile pantries to tax assistance to school-based meal support. Her remarks sparked an engaging discussion, with Tower employees eager to learn how they could get more involved and make a meaningful impact.
We also had the privilege of being a sponsor of the 2025 Gotham Ball, Food Bank’s signature fundraising gala, held May 1 at the iconic Seagram Building. It was a quintessential New York evening — elegant, energetic, and deeply moving. Hosted by designer and TV personality Nate Berkus and featuring a live performance by Samantha Ronson, the event brought together civic leaders, partners, and supporters to celebrate Food Bank’s “Hunger Heroes” and raise critical funds for their work.
