Tower Research Capital is honored to have received a recognition from IIT Kanpur for our CSR contributions to the research projects at the Center for Developing Intelligent Systems (CDIS).

Our India Director, Tanuj Mishra, accepted the award on behalf of Tower at IIT Kanpur Samanvay 2025 – a two-day event that brought together industry and academic leaders around the theme of “Igniting Ideas, Accelerating Innovation.” We are immensely honored to have been felicitated by Prof. Manindra Agrawal, Director of IIT Kanpur. This recognition is a testament to the powerful collaboration we have built with IIT Kanpur over the past few years, rooted in a shared vision that technology can be a force for social good in India. Our CSR funding has provided the sustained resources needed to bring this vision to life. The partnership has enabled groundbreaking projects that are making a tangible difference in India. A few examples include:

• Smart App for Intelligent Grievances Management System (IGMS) The IGMS-system is deployed across all central government departments to classify and route public grievances. It has received a National Award for e-Governance and is used in discussions at the Prime Minister’s Office. Tower funds were used to develop a smart app for India’s Centeralised Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS), leveraging IGMS capabilities.
  
  
• AI Center of Excellence for Sustainable Cities Through our CSR support, a custom enterprise resource planning (ERP) system was developed. Focusing on critical areas like e-governance, this project turned out to be a major success and the Ministry of Education has requested its adoption by other Centers of Excellence. This highlights the project’s national importance and IIT Kanpur’s leadership in administrative innovation.
  
  
• MahaKumbh 2024 Our support enabled the development of a digital hospital management system that streamlined patient transfers and ambulance bookings. It successfully managed over 10,700 patient admissions and is now slated for a statewide rollout.
