Spring is gala season for Tower Research Capital, and this May, our team was proud to support a range of organizations working to expand opportunity, strengthen communities, and improve lives across New York City and beyond.
Throughout the month, Tower sponsored and attended events supporting education, women and girls, families experiencing homelessness, food security, children with medical needs, heart health, and community engagement through sport. While each cause serves a distinct mission, all reflect the importance of showing up for organizations making a meaningful difference.
Supporting Girls Inc. of New York City
In late April, Tower supported Girls Inc. of New York City’s 2026 Lifting Girls Up Gala and College Shower. The annual event brings together leaders from across the corporate, nonprofit, and philanthropic communities to support educational programs that help girls and young women become strong, smart, and bold. The event also includes a College Shower tradition, helping send students to college with scholarships and gifts.
Advancing Education with Akanksha Education Fund
Tower attended the Akanksha Education Fund Spring Gala in New York City. The event brought together philanthropists, corporate supporters, community leaders, and others committed to Akanksha’s model of holistic education and long-term investment in student success.
This year’s gala focused on equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and resources they need to achieve economic mobility and lead purposeful, empowered lives.
Supporting Families Experiencing Homelessness with Win
Tower supported Win’s Way to Win Dinner. Win is the largest provider of family shelter and supportive housing in New York City, supporting families in shelter as they work toward permanent housing and providing essential services that address the systemic inequities at the core of the homelessness crisis.
Fighting Poverty with Robin Hood
Tower attended the Robin Hood Benefit, one of New York City’s signature philanthropic events in support of poverty-fighting work. The Benefit is one of the world’s largest single-night fundraisers, dedicated to supporting New Yorkers in need.
Robin Hood funds and partners with effective poverty-fighting nonprofits across the city, supporting work in areas such as early childhood, education, workforce development, housing, food, and health.
Supporting Food Bank For New York City
Tower supported Food Bank For New York City’s Gotham Ball, an evening of cocktails, dinner, and dancing in support of the organization’s mission to empower every New Yorker to achieve food security for good.
Bringing Play to Children with Medical Needs
Tower supported the Project Sunshine Gala. Project Sunshine’s mission is to deliver the healing power of play to children with medical needs through trained and dedicated volunteers. For more than 25 years, the organization has worked with medical facility and nonprofit partners to create space for children to socialize, play, and experience moments of joy during difficult medical journeys.
Walking and Running for Heart Health
Tower employees also participated in the American Heart Association’s Wall Street Run & Heart Walk. The event brings the financial community together in support of heart health, lifesaving CPR education, research, and broader efforts to reduce the impact of cardiovascular disease.
Taking Part in the JPMorganChase Corporate Challenge
Tower employees took part in the JPMorganChase Corporate Challenge in Central Park. The New York City event brings teams from across the business community together for a 3.5-mile race focused on fitness, camaraderie, teamwork, and local connection, while also giving back to local charities.
Across all of these efforts, we were proud to support organizations working to create opportunity, provide care, and strengthen the communities around us. We look forward to continuing to back causes that reflect our commitment to being a constructive presence in the places where we live and work.
