Tower’s CSR partnership with Child Rights and You (CRY) has helped reach 6,200+ children and 2,500+ households across Gurugram and Nuh, Haryana, deepening our shared commitment to a safer, more equitable world for children.
More than a donor, Tower has been a true development partner, standing with CRY to uphold every child’s right to education, protection, and participation. Together, we have addressed challenges like girls’ education, school dropouts, and child marriage, while nurturing children’s potential through life skills, sports, theatre, and digital literacy. Initiatives have ranged from child activity centers and campaigns like “Back to School” to the Siksha Vahini bus service now helping 100+ girls travel safely to school.
Recently, this spirit of hands-on partnership took on a vibrant new form. Tower’s Women’s Initiative Network (WIN) organized an inspiring volunteer event that merged CSR with employee engagement. Our dedicated female employees traded their laptops for brushes and gloves, helping to revamp the child activity center in Prempuri (Gurgaon). This collaborative effort turned the facility into a more conducive and colourful space for 120 children to study, play, and grow.
Each initiative shows what’s possible when communities and partners unite for change.
About Child Rights and You (CRY)
Started in 1979, Child Rights and You (CRY) is a prominent NGO in India working for underprivileged children. With its headquarters in Mumbai, CRY has offices in top cities in India: Delhi, Bangalore, and Kolkata. It is committed to doing everything it can to ensure the rights of India’s children – to education, safety and protection, health and nutrition, and participation.
Through its 150 projects spread across 20 states in India, CRY works to address issues including education, wellness, child labor, and child marriage. CRY addresses the critical needs of children by working with parents, teachers, Anganwadi workers, communities, district, and state-level governments, as well as the children themselves, to create sustainable change. In the last four decades, CRY has positively impacted the lives of over 4.7 million children.
At CRY, the aim is to bring lasting change with collaboration. Together with Tower, they are creating a future where every child can learn, lead, and thrive.
